I started out as a dancer who fell in love with yoga. Movement has always been an integral part of my life for various reasons. When I was younger, perhaps it was my desire to emulate the beauty I witnessed of a fully staged ballet. The etherial movement seemed to take me away to another time and space.

When I began college, part of my modern dance training included yoga. This inspired me to pursue my first yoga teaching certification at the Joschi Yoga Institute in New York City. I hold a B.A. in dance with a minor in psychology from Rutgers University, and recently received my second yoga teaching certification from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre.

I began teaching in 2011. My teaching style ranges from classical Hatha to Vinyasa, and even some ballet if you are craving that sort of thing. I also incorporate pranayama or breathing exercises along with proper alignment.
